Joanne (“Jo”) Brooke is a qualified and experienced piano and french horn teacher, offering lessons from her studio in Morley, Perth WA. She is a Teaching member of the West Australian Music Teachers’ Association.
Jo Brooke has had a varied career teaching music in Australia, the UK and China. She has held Head of Music Department and Director of Performing Arts Department roles at Perth College (Australia), Alleyn’s College, Dulwich College, Riverston Schools (UK) and Dulwich College (China). She has recently returned to Australia from China and is delighted to be able use her skills again to teach single or double lessons.
Jo is very familiar with AMEB, ABRSM and Trinity College exam syllabi but is also very willing to help students achieve their goals outside of the exam system.
As a registered NDIS support worker, Jo Brooke is also excited to be able to offer lessons to neurodivergent students and to work together with parents and students to find appropriate pathways to learning an instrument.
Jo speaks fluent Mandarin.
