Bradley Evans is a qualified and experienced piano, theory of music and musicianship teacher, offering lessons from his studio in Waikiki, Mandurah WA. He has a special interest in advanced levels, but teaches from beginner to Diploma level. Bradley is an Accredited Teaching Member of the West Australian Music Teachers’ Association.

Bradley completed his Bachelor of Music at NSW Conservatorium in 1981, studying with Elizabeth Powell. He was State winner and Commonwealth finalist in the ABC Concerto and Vocal Competition in 1982, in which year he was also winner of the inaugural Yamaha National Piano competition.

He continued his piano studies in London from 1983-85 with the help of Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Award and an Australia Council scholarship, studying with Benjamin Kaplan.

From 1991-2001, Bradley lived and taught in Germany.

Since returning to Australia in 2001, Bradley has taught piano at St Catherine’s, Waverley and from 2006-2022 he taught piano at Sydney Grammar School. He also ran a successful private studio, with over 40 successful Diploma students, and winning the AMEB Shield in 2012 for the best exam results in NSW in the 7th Grade to Licenciate category.

Bradley Evans was the recipient of a Certificate of Distinction for being in the top 5 exam results in NSW for Grade 7 to Licenciate in 2016 and 2017.
Bradley was an AMEB (NSW) examiner from 2008 to the end of 2022. He has joined AMEB (WA) as a piano examiner in 2023.
