June Clark is a pianist, composer and Accredited Teaching member of the West Australian Music Teachers’ Association, and currently holds the position of President of the West Australian Music Teachers’ Association.
June teaches piano and music theory for AMEB examination. Beginners are also very welcome as are those who wish to learn for fun and enjoyment – adults included.
In addition to teaching, June has worked as Music Director in numerous shows, including “Fiddler on the Roof” (1999), “Showboat” (2000), “Dinkum Assorted” (2002), “Panto Pandemonium” (2008), “Flapper” (2009) “Adrian Mole” (2009) , “Eros & Psyche” (2010) and “Seussical the Musical” in 2014.
Her major compositional work was that of a piece for Music Theatre “EROS & PSYCHE” which was workshopped under Enchant Productions at the Playhouse theatre and then subsequently performed as a world premiere in May 2010 at Stirling Theatre.
In addition to pedagogical compositions for students, June has also produced and released two songs, “Alright with you” and an Australian Christmas Carol “Aussie Christmas Day”, both of which are on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music and other streaming platforms.
